Ụdaume keeps a family’s voices so that they are not lost. That means we keep some things about you. This page says what they are, in plain words. We do not sell anything about you, we show no advertising, and nothing in the app follows you anywhere else.
Ụdaume is made by UDAUME LIMITED, a company in Nigeria. Write to hello@udaume.com about anything on this page.
What you keep for your family is seen by your family. It is seen by everybody only if your family chooses to open it to everyone, and that is always asked for plainly first. People who look after the archive can see what they need to answer a report or to keep it safe, and every time they act it is written down.
We use a few companies to run Ụdaume. They handle your information only to do their part:
The app asks for the microphone to record, the camera and photos to add a picture or a video, and notifications to tell you when something waits. Each is asked for only when you first need it, and each can be turned off in your phone’s settings.
You can change your name, picture and anything you added at any time. You can ask us for a copy of what we keep about you. And you can delete your account inside the app, in Settings — or see how to delete your account without the app.
When an account is deleted, your sign-in, name, username, picture, email and phone number go. What you kept for your family stays with your family, because it is theirs too, and your name on it becomes “a keeper who left”. If you want something you recorded taken down as well, tell us and we will.
Families add their children’s names and voices. If you believe a child’s voice or name was added without their parent agreeing, write to us and we will take it down.
Anybody can report something they see, and anybody can block another member, so that they no longer see what that person adds. We read every report.
If we start keeping something new, this page changes first, and anything that matters is told to you in the app. Last changed 26 September 2026.
